Chicago Company seeking an immediate Interim Internal Auditor. The candidate will be expected to conduct audits at Corporate, business unit headquarters, and field locations with emphasis on areas of greater risk.

Responsibilities:

• Determine audit scope and approach for varying projects and aspects of business, as well as executing and documenting all audit testing in work papers
• Develop relationships and communicating audit objectives and approach to various internal department's management teams
• Scrutinize, prioritize and risk rank control deficiencies in audits based on the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board's (PCAOB's) standards
• Succinctly communicate audit findings to management, as well as audit leadership both verbally and in writing

Required Qualifications:

• 1-4 years of internal or external audit experience.
• Requires B.S. in Accounting or Finance.
• Requires familiarity with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.
• Requires familiarity with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing, as well as the IIA’s Code of Ethics.
• Requires familiarity with the COSO’s Internal Controls V Integrated Framework or Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework.
• Ability to scrutinize, prioritize and risk rank control deficiencies cited in audits based on the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board’s (PCAOB’s) standards is desired, but not required.
• Experience in performing risk assessments is desired, but not required.
• Ability to execute and document all audit testing in work papers is essential.
• Ability to develop relationships and be able to communicate audit objectives and approach to department management is essential.
• Must be able to succinctly communicate audit findings to management both orally and in writing.
