PRIMARY PURPOSE: To gather and analyze financial data; to ensure accuracy of balance sheet and income statement accounts; to ensure accuracy and timeliness of reconciliations; and to provide ad hoc reporting and analysis.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintains and analyzes balance sheet accounts. Provides ad hoc reporting and analysis. Completes account reconciliations. Analyzes Company financial data and ensures compliance with Company policy and conformance to US GAAP. Prepares and analyzes reports and communicates results to appropriate management. Communicates issues, project status and other applicable information to management. ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Completes special projects as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned. Supports the Total Performance Management initiative. QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Licensing:
BS/BA degree or equivalent preferred. Major in accounting field preferred. Each year of experience beyond the requirement equates to one (1) year of post secondary education.
Experience:
Five (5) years accounting and/or financial analysis experience required. AS/AA degree may substitute for one (1) year experience; BS/BA degree may substitute for two (2) years experience; MS/MA degree may substitute for three (3) years experience.
