Internal Communications Senior Manager, Mergers & Acquistions (M&A)

U.S. Communications team has an opening for a Sr. communications professional to focus on Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) communications.
The M&A Communications Senior Manager (M&A CSM) and his/her team will provide dedicated communications support to the Office of the M&A Managing Partner, his Chief of Staff, and other senior M&A leadership, including leads of MACS, MATS, and M&A FAS.  In addition, the M&A CSM and team will provide selective and strategically prioritized delivery of advisory, writing, and additional production and coordinative services to other M&A leaders and specialized internal clients, including Strategic Initiative Executive Sponsors, industry sector leaders, and client leadership partners on certain select accounts.
The M&A CSM will identify strategic and tactical communications needs in relation to achieving internal and external business objectives and then develop detailed plans, budgets, and resource requirements for executing that work.  This individual will both
implement projects and manage others in implementation efforts.  Following M&A leadership's recent approval of a robust and dedicated internal communications support system, the M&A CSM is charged with setting up an M&A IC infrastructure and delivery system that carries out a broad range of communications services, including plan development, editorial services, electronic media, live events, and strategic messaging (See Key Role Responsibilities). The M&A CSM will supervise a team of other staff communications professionals and outside contractors, as needed, and will collaborate with members of the entire M&A extended communications network.  The M&A CSM will report to the M&A IC Lead and will have regular interaction with the M&A Chief of Staff.  There also will be significant teaming and coordination with peers in other functions and industry groups throughout the Deloitte network.
