Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway, Inc. company and industry leader in aircraft management, maintenance and charter services is seeking International Flight Coordinator for our facility at Lunken airport in Cincinnati, Ohio. This position works Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm. Position Summary:
- Ensure the safe and legal coordination of scheduled flights.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
- Liaison between Charter/Owner Services, vendors and crews.
- Oversee international trip planning vendor’s coordination of International flights. Ensure the following: they are covering all necessary aspects of the required trip arrangements; they
have required data for each EJM airplane; they have latest copies of required aircraft insurance. - Order annual customs stickers for appropriate aircraft.
- Apply for various FAA waivers for international operations.
- Apply for over-flight exemptions.
- Monitoring weather and other events for possible delays.
- Coordinating with Charter Sales and Owner Services to ensure the highest level of customer service.
- Arrange international hotels and airlines for crews; briefing crews for part 135 and 91 flights; flight following.
- Provide back-up support to the domestic flight coordinators and flight followers as required.
- Assist in the input and research of flight/service deviations per the company's deviation management process.
Minimum Qualifications:
§ Two-year college degree or equivalent work experience.
§ Prior experience in the EJM Flight Operations Center preferred.
§ Good communication skills and a team player.
§ Strong computer and math skills.
§ A good grasp of geography, time zones, political boundaries, general aircraft performance factors, etc.
§ The ability to understand complex relationships while working under pressure is essential.
§ Good understanding of FAR’s related to part 91 and 135 flights.
§ FAA dispatch license preferred. If candidate does not have a FAA dispatch license at time of hiring, candidate will be required to obtain this license within twelve months of hire date in order to retain the position.
§ Customer service skills and good organization skills.
§ Previous work experience with coordination of international flights is highly preferred.
