International Marketing position

Leviton Network Solutions has an exciting opening for an International Marketing position

Summary of position:  

This position has the responsibility for international marketing activities related to product development and launch, and after-launch marketing support for sales, specification, and channel activities.  The scope may be expanded as needed to support other segments and programs.

This position is responsible for:

• International vertical market research in assigned segment(s), regarding trends in IT spending, technology, applications, and assessment of opportunity for purposes of targeted marketing.  Identification of communication opportunities: trade organizations & shows, publications, meetings and conferences.


• Involvement in core-team product development in the following capacities:  Sales qualification and EAU generation, launch packages, Marcom coordination, promotions, development of marketing deliverables, budgets, and timetables, development of competitive selling tools.


• Competitive research, including website, PR, trade-pub, literature, trade-show, sales, channel, promotions, pricing, and new product announcements. 


• Providing international marketing support to international marketing personnel including support for ads for trade pubs, distributor pubs, distributor catalogs & catalog updates, sales promotions, web sites, requests for graphics and other materials, annual marketing planning, and coordination with the account manager for assigned distributor accounts.


• International support for samples, literature, trade shows, and other requests as needed to support division strategy.

Skills and Abilities:

·         Ability to create new ideas, and develop tactical plans that support division strategy

·         Ability to interact in an environment where there are multiple languages spoken and multiple time zones

·         Ability to perform market research and present findings in a clear and concise manner to management

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

·         B2B Marketing experience and experience working with indirect sales channels

·         An understanding of pricing strategies and channel management

·         Must have the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite for Windows on an IBM or compatible personal computer.

Experience/Education:

• Minimum 5 years experience in a marketing or marketing related position. 


• Minimum 2 years international marketing experience preferred


• B2B marketing experience and experience working with indirect channels preferred


• BA in Business Administration or Marketing required


• 3+ years experience in developing product launch plans.


• Understanding of pricing strategies and channel management.

Travel:

• Position requires up to 25% international travel
