International Quality Supply Director

This very prestigious corporation is looking to hire a International Quality Supply Director .This position reports to the VP of Global Sourcing. The individual will be required to have experience with PPAP (Production Product Approval Process) and must have international experience. Position would be based out of Rhode Island. Flexibility on relocation due to high travel.   

RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Support Sourcing price, quality, and delivery requirements through manufacturing and engineering process development.      

·        Assist current and potential suppliers to identify and implement cost reduction initiatives or enablers.

·        Manage International team and International supplier’s supporting North America, European, and Asian Market new products required.

·        Support maintenance / Evaluation of existing supply base.

·        Assist specified suppliers to improve manufacturing processes.

·        Implement cost reduction actions at specified suppliers working closely with Engineering, Purchasing Agents, Logistics Operations, and Marketing.

·        Understand new technologies, materials and processes to be potentially implemented within our supply base.

EXPERIENCE

• BS degree
  
• Must have PPAP Experience
  
• Must have International and Domestic Experience
  
• 7 + Years experience
  
• Lean Manufacturing Experience major plus 

          COMPENSATION

• Salary 90K - 110K based on experience
  
• 75% Travel Required 50 % International 25% Domestic  
  
• Relocation assistance provided
