Internet Project Manager

The Direct Marketing Internet Project Manager is charge of developing and maintaining the infrastructure of the Brookstone.com website.  The scope of this job includes project management in the launch of new site functionality, budget management for site enhancements and maintenance, being the go-to person internal and external contacts, and the integration of systems germane to the Internet. This individual is our in-house operational “expert” on all things internet and will stay abreast of the latest technologies and trends necessary to support our online merchandising and marketing efforts so as to achieve our financial plan.

Qualifications include:

·        Project Management experience in an e-commerce environment.

·        Excellent Written and Verbal communication skills.

·        Understanding of programming languages, protocols, and technologies (such as SQL queries, HTML, XML, and .asp a plus).

·        Proficiency with Microsoft Project, MS Office (including Access).

·        Strong multi-tasker.  Able to stop/start multiple tasks without losing place or focus.

·        Strong project leader across varying management teams with differing priorities.

·        College degree or equivalent experience.

·        Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar environment.      

·        Familiarity with integrated tracking systems / asset management / content management systems desired.

·        Prior experience working for a multi-channel retailer with catalogs, stores, and website helpful.
