Essential Functions:
Make outbound calls and proactive touches (ex. email) to prospects and lapsed customers in order to close sales and achieve sales quota goals.
o Generate awareness and interest in Monster’s full suite of products and services

o Manage and maintain a detailed, accurate and growing pipeline
Since this role is primarily cold calling via telephone - demonstrate persistence, tenacity, ability to overcome obstacles and handle frequent objections.
Follow-up on designated leads or target campaigns, as required.
Effectively use voicemail messages to drive call-backs.
Conduct online product demonstrations, as needed.
Ensure a superior customer experience with Monster by addressing customer questions or concerns and demonstrating empathy.
Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales quota and other sales performance objectives.
Consistently meet or exceed productivity objectives, ex. number of outbound calls, talk time.
Leverage internet tools, ex. Hoovers, Google, to complete research on companies as appropriate.
Update, through “data entry” account touches, quotes, orders and customer contact information in the CRM enterprise system. Accountable to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all updates.
Maintains a current knowledge of market activities including competitive products, pricing and policies, new technology, product specifications and possible new products. Communicates this information to management on a regular basis.
As business and/or customer needs dictate, partners with Sales Reps within and across districts, regions and verticals to “team” on select Monster customer and prospect accounts. Helps develop teaming strategy to drive sales revenue and improve the customer experience. Follows agreed upon touch plan and coverage approach.
Consistently follow standard operating procedures and best practices in order to maximize and increase the success of every business contact.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred. High School degree required.
At least 2 – 5 years of sales experience with a proven solid track record in heavy prospecting and lead generation. Experience should be in an outbound transactional call environment.
Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales quotas
Able to quickly develop rapport and trust with prospects
Able to uncover needs, offer appropriate solutions, negotiate prices and close sales on the phone
Able to work in a team environment, working together with colleagues to meet business goals
Familiar with working in an incentive/goal driven environment
Computer literate with strong keyboard skills. Previous experience using CRM software desired.
Internet savvy. Able to use multiple internet tools to assist with customer research.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
