Internet Retail Sales Professional Needed
About the Job
Our Company is a leading online retailer with two niche furniture websites. Both websites offer large online product selections to customers wishing to buy from experienced Sales Professionals who can provide product knowledge in a professional, articulate and courteous manner. Our success lies in our ability to educate and provide online “purchasing comfort” to our customers through the full sales cycle. Answering inbound calls and emails with rigorous follow up is critical for this position.
The ideal candidate will have a proven record in meeting sales goals; work with minimal supervision; be efficient and proactive in completing tasks; be flexible; and demonstrate telephone sales and closing skills.
Essential Job Qualifications:
• Responsible for answering all inbound calls, answering all customer questions with full product knowledge, making purchase recommendations based on their needs.
• Following up on all sales leads, keeping notes of all conversations to ensure customer’s needs are always fulfilled.
• Responsible for closing sales, maximizing revenue potential via upsells
• Duties encompass business development activities including but not limited to: extensive phone work, closing and service by telephone.
• Articulate, professional, mature and disciplined
• Achieving sales and activity goals through effective sales activities (phone, email, etc.)
Maintain regular contact with prospects and customers
Key Requirements:
• 2-3 years of related sales work is required; proven record of meeting sales goals/quotas*
*Candidates will be asked to demonstrate record (can be through references, etc.)
• Prior experience in sales (preferably in furniture sales)
• Prior experience in telephone sales
• Strong vocabulary and communication (written and oral) skills are required
• Computer Skills – Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Internet Applications, etc…
