Deloitte Services' Eminence Channel is a marketing-focused group within Sales, Marketing and Business Development which oversees strategy, technology and operations for marketing-related functions including database management, email marketing, webcasts, live event management and more.
The team is currently looking for an intern to support e-mail marketing and contact data management activities. The internship
will last through May 2010, and will require 20+ hours per week.
This position is based in Atlanta.
Tasks for this position include:
Distribution List Management
• Running reports within database system to develop distribution lists for e-mail marketing activities
• Cleansing distribution lists
Metrics Reporting and Analysis
• Perform data analysis to identify audience overlap, market penetration, and reach of e-mail marketing activities
• Compiling metrics related to e-mail distributions
Distribution Schedule Maintenance
• Uploading scheduling information for distributions into master calendar
• Maintaining up-to-date information regarding distribution timing and other criteria
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline and 3 - 5 years of prior relevant experience in Internet marketing
- Requires proficiency working with databases and spreadsheets; familiarity with other analysis tools helpful. Experience working with
website analysis software, content management platform, email marketing systems extremely helpful.
- Ability to collaborate with Internet Marketing management and peers (team player).
- Ability to work well in a matrixed, fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
- Working knowledge of HTML, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop (or similar).
- Marketing experience in B2B environment a plus.
Personal skills include:
- This position requires a working knowledge of Web marketing and Internet Marketing technology trends, as well as an understanding of business place. This position interacts with Deloitte LLP's Web marketing professionals on a regular basis. This individual will be an important player in ensuring that the firm has a state-of-the-art, efficient Website.
