Position Description: Summary: The Inventory Analyst applies and utilizes inventory management principles in order to maintain accurate records regarding physical inventory levels. In addition, the incumbent utilizes cycle counts and raw audits in order to identify and correct inventory system errors. Duties and Responsibilities: •Performs weekly cycle counts and makes necessary system adjustments •Conducts searches in order to locate misclassified inventory •Performs daily activities, which are necessary in order to maintain effective inventory records •Publish weekly and quarterly inventory metrics •Communicates with the customers and Kuehne + Nagel personnel regarding inventory issues •Assist the management staff in planning and organizing inventory levels in new stockrooms •Communicate and develop process enhancements as needed (performs root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommends process improvements to eliminate them) •Completes special projects and assists other employees as needed (special packout projects, SMI inventory analysis, assists on packaging component inventory tracking) Qualifications/Experience: •Bachelor's degree (BA / BS) from four-year college or university; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience •One to two years of warehouse experience •Ability to communicate - written and verbal •Ability to establish priorities and to function in a multi-tasked environment •Possess professional business demeanor •Knowledge of the following Microsoft software applications - Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint •Ability to use warehouse and inventory programs Working Environment: Office environment Special Requirements: Pre employment background screening To Apply Visit Kuehne + Nagel We offer a competitive salary and a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision and 401(k) Plan with excellent company match.
