Inventory Control Specialist

Reports to: Production Data Manager

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1.)   Inventory Maintenance: Accurate inventory analysis and control including but not limited to the issue and receipts from inventory, Purchase Order receipts, aging inventory, discontinued products and their disposition. and documentation thereof.

2.)   Daily order closures and end of month production reconciliation.

3.)   Identifying long lead time items required on an on-going basis and assuring these items are ordered and in process as soon as minimum quantity levels are reached.

4.)   Perform inventory adjustments while communicating with buyers and accounting.

5.)   Management of current and year-end physical inventory.

6.)   Communication with management and other departments regarding inventory issues and it’s effect on daily operations and manufacturing.

Key qualities of an employee for this position:

1.)   A propensity for accurate documentation.

2.)   Ability to organize vast amounts of data and multi-task time management skills.

3.)   Fluent in both conversational and written English.

4.)   Computer literate in Outlook, Word, and Excel.

5.)   Minimum 3 years experience in Inventory and Administration

6.)   10 key capability for data entry a plus

7.)   Any experience with Epicor/ERP systems is a plus
