Inventory Control Supervisor and Special Project Supervisor
ABOUT OUR CLIENT:
Our client, has over fifteen years of experience in the apparel, distribution and transportation industries, the group has been developed to help service all of their customer’s fulfillment and distribution needs.
They are currently looking for additional supervisors and lead floor-man to supervise the floor of the “Garments on Hangers” division, by key performance indicators (KPI). The positions are available due an influx of new business and are full time positions, not dependent on seasonality.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inventory Control Supervisor- ensures adequate inventory of materials and products in accord with inventory cycles and organizational philosophy. Conducts daily inventory analysis to solve inventory problems. Develops and implements inventory control procedures. Coordinates and manages daily physical cycle counts Trains and manages an inventory team. Requires a Bachelors degree with 7 years of experience in the field.
Major Duties:
Special Project Supervisor- caters to the customers’ special requests. Responsible for managing labor hours and accuracy of work that your team performs.

Directly reporting to Director of Operations
SALARY: dependent on experience and multi-skills
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience/Education: Ideal candidate must have knowledge of apparel industry especially GOH (Garment on Hangers) and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience. Must have experience and utilized Key Performance Indicators in managing the floor. Must be able to work long hours and able to become person at management level for the division.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/COMPENTICIES:
Excellent communication skills
Strong knowledge in Garment on Hangers or Garment Industry
Experience and thorough understanding of KPI
Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment -- must work well across multiple units across the company
Must be a team builder and a team player
Must have ability to handle multiple tasks
Computer literate
English speaker/ Bi-lingual (plus)
Good judgment and initiative
Time management skills
