Provide supervision to Inventory in order to meet/exceed the Company's established total goals to control inventory, receiving, movement, storage and disposal. Will administer and control all company policies and procedures; and implement/initiate new policies and procedures. Organize and plan and delegate assignment to all personnel, both direct and indirect. Be proactive in liaison responsibilities between operations (AIT, FAB, Maintenance, Paint, etc.) and other manufacturing teams and the customer(s).
* Organize and plan projects and work assignments and perform effective follow-up procedures to complete work in a timely and productive manner and meeting all quality requirements. Coordinate with department managers, supervisors, peers, and subordinates in solving problems
* Develop subordinates through training, instruction, coaching and assistance for solving problems; and appraising performance. Plan and maintain product schedules, organize work orders and plan ahead to reduce production problems and down time
* Train employees in proper use of tools and equipment and job safety. Maintain a clean and safe work place by ensuring the work force maintains a clean and safe work place. Ensure all tools and materials necessary to perform tasks are provided
* Coordinate and implement changes by ensuring that change requirements are identified and implemented in a timely manner
* Expedite parts by working with internal and external personnel. Scheduling of repair and rework on trucks and ensuring work instruction are followed with discrepancies reported promptly
* Responsible for informing supervisor of any safety, quality, process and personnel problems. May be par of the Material Review Board
* Achieve financial objectives established in annual business plan. Recruit, develop, and retain superior management and key staff members and employees

High School Diploma or GED; with a minimum of 5 years experience in a Senior Lead and/or Supervisory position dealing with employees as well as having experience in a job-related and high volume manufacturing environment (preferably automotive or heavy truck). Must be computer literate and possess good written and oral communication skills. Must demonstrate leadership and problem solving abilities. Must be able to resolve conflict with the customer while maintaining good customer relations. Must have inventory, warehousing, cycle counting, receiving, and supervising skills. Knowledge and experience of lean manufacturing/TPS and TPM preferred. Shift rotation and Area rotation of this supervisor level position is expected. Prior lead and/or supervision experience is required.

Or in place of 5 years experience as stated would substitute 3 years of senior lead and/or supervisor experience plus a solid 2 years of direct experience in department or in similar outside company manufacturing department.
