To disseminate information that aids and assists law enforcment, NICB Agents, and the Insurance Industry in the indentification and recovery of stolen vehicles and assist in the reduction of fraud in regards to suspect insurance claims. The position works the 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. shift.
Competencies/Duties:
· Liaison between NICB agents, law enforcement agencies, and the insurance industry. · Support NICB Agents. · Conducts searches utilizing the database and other available resources. · Performs assigned projects, data entry of Referrals, quality control on Impounds, Regional Hits-Queue, and NLETS, CARFAX, or LPR email box inquiries as required, and Vincheck. · Provide statistical inquiries. · Provide CARFAX users theft verification, and Vincheck. · Other duties as assigned. Position Requirements/Abilities: · Flexible individual with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure. · Sound decision making skills. · Must be a problem solver. · Team player that can work independently. · Professional phone mannerism. · Ability to discern questionable information and use sound judgment in reacting. Education, Work Experience, Licensure: · High School Diploma, some college preferred. · Working knowledge of PC and MS Applications.
