Investment Consultant
We are currently seeking Series 7, 66, or 63 licensed Investment Consultants for our Fort Worth, Texas Location.
Role:
The Investment Consultant is responsible for managing ongoing client relationships through scheduled follow-up calls and correspondence to clients. Investment Consultants will be responsible for performing portfolio reviews and providing transactional based advice on various investment products to Ameritrade clients. In addition, this individual will be responsible for up selling current clients on Ameritrade's advice offering. These activities will require a strong knowledge of the securities industry, portfolio management theory, Ameritrade products and services, and the ability to effectively develop relationships with clients over the phone.
Responsibility:
Effectively manage a client base, ensuring that all clients receive the proper attention and response
Strengthen the client relationship and expand existing client wallet share through effective presentation of Ameritrade's investment products and services
Receive inbound calls and effectively make outbound calls to current clients
Perform advice transactions on a variety of investment products and services
Ability to follow a standard advice methodology in the delivery to clients
Record accurate client data and profile information that can be used to further assist clients
Utilize technology to serve clients in a rapidly
changing environment
Requirements:
Series 7, 66 or 63 registrations
Minimum of two years experience in a financial service sales team position
Must be self-motivated with an outgoing personality and work well in a team setting
Outstanding communication, listening, relationship building and negotiating skills
Possess the ability to excel in a competitive, fast paced environment.
Capable of quickly building good rapport with clients, assessing their needs and presenting features and benefits of Ameritrade's products and services
The ability to work independently with a high degree of quality
Well-developed communication skills with an assertive and dynamic personality are essential
Must be self-motivated and client service oriented.
Must be able to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure while remaining focused.
Primary areas of responsibility will require a high level of knowledge regarding Ameritrade products and services, policies and procedures, and new accounts
Bachelor's degree highly preferred
