TOP PRODUCERS WANTED FOR LAND LEASE, ENERGY AND OIL & GAS SALES
We are a licensed broker-dealer with offices in Richardson, Texas, specializing in the sale of direct participation interests of land leases, crude oil and natural gas to accredited investors. We are looking to add Professional Sales Reps for some of our new and exciting investment projects. The ideal candidate would be an experienced representative with a Series 7 or 22 and 63 securities licenses, an existing book of accredited (high net worth) investors, and a history of success. Sales experience in the high end market is very helpful.
Job Purpose:
Obtain and serve customers by soliciting energy investment projects in oil & gas, land leases and possible alternative energy sources; close sales, provide excellent customer service. Build a book of investor clients that you can call for ongoing participation in future projects. This position requires heavy telephone solicitation in a professional office environment.
Qualifications:
This position requires professional securities licenses. Minimum license requirements are FINRA SERIES 22 and FINRA SERIES 63. Preferred licenses include FINRA SERIES 7 and FINRA SERIES 63. If you are not licensed but possess the necessary skills and experience, we will assist you in the process of testing to obtain the required licenses. This position also requires a complete background check and fingerprinting.
Duties:
* Contact prospective clients from qualified leads, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on individual and institutional investors.
* Utilize firm-provided relationship management software to maintain meticulous records of calls, messages and conversations.
* Fully explain investment projects to prospective clients by going through the documents and highlighting important features and benefits. Answering questions as needed.
* Close sales by understanding buyers' needs and risk tolerance, matching that tolerance to current investment opportunities, provide information, explain the details and demonstrate benefits; relaying offers; suggesting alternative actions.
* Utilize proven sales presentations while adjusting content and style as needed.
* Focus sales efforts by studying existing representatives and training by management.
* Submit orders by referring to private memorandum and product literature.
* Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual sales and market analyses.
* Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on new deals, pricing, existing contracts, outside market forces, and investment landscape.
* Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
* Addressing customer complaints while making recommendations to our Compliance Department.
* Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in continuing education classes and completing regulatory requirements.
* Maintain accurate records and provide information to the firm as needed for regulatory compliance.
* Contribute to team effort and accomplish brokerage mission by exceeding related sales results as needed.
