THE OPPORTUNITY: JADOCS Field Eng - Afghanistan

LOCATION: Fort Belvoir, VA 22060







Raytheon Virtual Technology Corporation has a great opportunity for a Senior Field Engineer.



Opportunity :



You'll be an integral member of a large geographically-dispersed Field Service Engineering team and participate in all aspects of system and operational support to include, Testing, Training, System Engineering, Systems Administration, Help Desk, and Exercise Coordination and Support for the Joint Automated Deep Operations Coordination System (JADOCS). JADOCS is a DoD C4I application with 3000+ users supporting real-world, time-sensitive requirements. You'll be responsible for integrating JADOCS and other C4I software packages. You'll apply your hands-on technical knowledge of Joint Fires on a daily basis working closely with client commands. Duties include Microsoft OS administration, generic networking administration and PC troubleshooting. You'll also prepare professional system and training documentation and play a key role in liaising and developing long-term relationships with clients including - in many instances - serving as the main point of contact with government agencies and military commands.



Required :



Prior experience with JADOCS or ADOCS, and AFATDS administration and field support.



Understand Military Decision Making Process (MDMP) and war fighting Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTP).



Skilled in troubleshooting Windows Operating Systems and networking problems.



Strong technical writing and documentation skills.



Experience in C2 user support, training and system administration.



DoD Secret security clearance with ability to gain Top Secret.



Willing to be internationally deployed for periods of 6 months to 1 year various locations such as Afghanistan, Iqar, Qatar, Europe, Korea.

Multiple state-side locations available.



Desired:



Military veterans with Joint Fires and Targeting experience.



Recently separated commissioned, non-commissioned or warrant officer with relevant experience and MOS.



Prior experience with C2PC, GCCS, TBMCS and/or other Joint systems.



Graduate of Battle Staff Course, Command and General Staff College or similar staff course.



Security+ and Network+ Certification







Education: Bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
