Title: JDEdwards Application Programmer

Location: Seattle, Washington

Dept.:  Information Technology

Reports to:  IT - System Manager

Hours:  Full Time M/F

Summary:

Must have experience in JD Edwards Enterprise Applications (JD Edwards World and Enterprise One). This position will analyze, design, development and implement software applications in the Enterprise Resource & Planning (ERP), AS400 and client-server environment.

Responsibilities:

Homegrown development, modification, application support, setup security, customer support, operation support, system administration, and Configurable Network Computing.

Resolve issues between iSeries platforms and customer/third party applications including EDI (iNovis Trusted Link).  EDI Purchase Order (850), Price/Sales Catalog (832), Invoice (810), and functional acknowledgement (997) and Credit Card Processing (RITA), authorizations and settlements, including interfaces with JDE financial systems

Applications Development using RPG, imbedded SQL, CL, DB2/400, X12 EDI (iNovis Trusted Link), FTP

Coordination of unit, system and user acceptance testing

Systems and user documentation

Coordination with corporate, multiple branch, and customer/third party associates

Installation planning including but not limited to:

Coordination of installs with Change Management

Conversion/initial load  of new data when required

Requirements:

7+ years experience in analysis and design and programming of full life cycle application development.  Must have experience in the following:

B.S. in Computer Science.

JDEEdwards OneWorld preferred (if not World is fine) Financials, Distribution, Manufacturing & Technical (ERP, MRP).

Experience in JD Edwards One World Tool Set including in Enterprise Report Writer ERW, Business Views BSVW, Business Functions BSFN’S, Report Design Aid RDA, Form Design Aid Tool FDA, Object Configuration Manager OCM, User Defined Codes UDC, Data Dictionary DD, Table Design Aid TDA, Table Conversion TC, Universal Table Browser UTB, Universal Batch Engine UBE and Debugging Tools. Logistics (Sales order, Procurement, Inventory) applications.

Experience with basic Configurable Network Computing (CNC) concepts including Package Builds and User Securities & Regular Maintenance.

Experience in Table Conversion tool to build and populate data in to JDE Z-tables.

Experience in EnterpriseOne integration and interoperability process, EnterpriseOne HTML solution and web portal, create Forms V 2.1 for JD Edwards Application to customize the ERW PDF’s

Worked with Analysis, design, development and test commercial and business applications using AS/400 with including RPGIII, RPG/400, RPGILE, SQL/400 DB2/400 and CL/400.

Strong in designing and developing Business Objects Designer.         

Experience in Conversion: AS400 to JDE OneWorld (ERP, MRP)—Gap analysis

Applications:  JDE: Financials, Distribution, Manufacturing, Technical Foundation.

Hardware/Software:  IBM AS/400, OS/400, RPG-III, RPG-IV, ILE/RPG, IBM CL, J.D. Edwards, MS-Office, FTP, TCP, SQL

Reporting Tools – JDE Word Writer,  JDE FASTER,Global Software Spreadsheet Server, AMXIQ

Languages: One World Tools (their proprietary language), Visual Basic, C programming Language, SQL, RPG III, RPG/ILE, Stored Procedures, FTP, TCP/IP;

Tools– EDI (iNovis Trusted Link and, Credit Card Processing RITA, ACOM Form Design tools, Case tools.

Operating Systems – OS/400, Windows NT 4.0/ 95/ 98/ 2000/ XP, Novel Netware, MS DOS

Languages – C, C++, RPG III, RPG/400, RPG ILE, CL/400, SQL/400.
