POSITION PURPOSE:
Fiserv a leader in the credit union industry is seeking a season Technical Support Analyst. This individual will provide technical support to our national client base with various flavors of IBM Unix, Windows operating systems as well as networking topologies
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Respond to information requests via telephone calls and emails customers and able to resolve customer issues in a timely and efficient manner.
· Make accurate entries of customer interactions (telephone and e-mail) customer support ticketing solution database (maintain records of telephone conversations, customer problems and resolutions).
· Diagnose between hardware and software issues and errors.
· Work in and troubleshoot in a wide range of current Microsoft operating systems.
· Is unable to resolve problems, escalate to appropriate group or person.
· On-call pager support
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Degree in Computer Science, System Networking or similar technical field or equivalent experience required.
· Solid understanding of routers and switches.
· Minimun 3 years experience with current versions of Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Active Directory.
· Minimum 2 years experience working in Help Desk environment.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Knowledge of network management/configuration
· Certifications and Linux experience a plus
· Experience with remote support tools
· Experience with Hardware maintenance, replacement and repair
