We are seeking a JR to Intermediate Product Marketing Engineer - Power Management ICs for our Austin, TX based client
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an individual contributor with no direct reports, you will perform:
- Market Analysis, product definition, pricing strategies, developing/presenting detailed business cases, product launch planning
- Engage customers in product marketing efforts to garner design wins
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS or better in EE
- 3 to 6 years of relevant (power, RF or Analog) semiconductor industry experience (marketing or applications/field applications engineering)
- Must have some experience with power management Ics, and knowledge or experience with PFC
- Strengths or business acumen with respect to competitive and market analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally, up to 30%
DESIRABLE/ASSET:
- Direct experience in product marketing or applications engineering of power management Ics (preferably LED, PFC or AC/DC converter PFC experience)
- Good technical knowledge of switching regulator technology and demonstrate an understanding of the value of various features and functionality of switching regulator/controller products.
- Experience knowledge of solar power technology products, inverters, lighting ballasts, etc
