The Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company – Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin has openings for Operator / Maintainer positions. These openings may be in Brewing, Packaging, Racking, Warehouse, or Maintenance. A very competitive benefit package is included, which becomes available upon the successful completion of a 6-month probationary period.

H.S. Diploma or equivalent is required.

The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude for maintaining, troubleshooting and improving mechanical equipment/systems. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment would be desirable. The successful candidates must demonstrate the following attributes: Technical school and/or job experience that solidly demonstrates successful performance. Maintains optimism and has demonstrated the ability to maintain positive demeanor and 'can do' attitude in spite of setbacks, disappointments, or diversity. Maintains self-confidence in ability to make a difference. Candidates must be self-starters, with good problem solving and analytical skills, and the ability to use that knowledge in maintaining and troubleshooting equipment.

The successful candidate must also possess the following:

Minimum 2 years of technical school focus in machining, mechanical repairs, and or welding. Previous job experience is desired in maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical equipment/systems, preferably with packaging equipment in the food/beverage industry. Familiarity in the operation of lathes, drill presses and other machine tools and metal fabrication equipment is desirable.

All candidates must be capable of lifting and carrying 50 lbs. and able to service equipment throughout the brewery. Must be capable and/or qualified to wear a respirator.

All candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screening test and physical and written skill assessment test.
