Goodwill Columbus is currently seeking highly motivated and reliable candidates for the position of Janitorial Supervisor.  Candidates should have an in-depth understanding of the custodial and housekeeping industry as well as the business knowledge to effectively manage client relationships.  In addition to experience and skills, applicants must have a desire to fulfill the mission of Goodwill Columbus of providing work opportunities to individuals with disabilities and other barriers.   

This involves the opportunity to:

Coordinate all daily operations of a Janitorial contract including training, manpower allocation, record keeping, quality control, inventory control, and other related assignments.

Qualifications:

Ø  3 to 4 years experience in the Janitorial field with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity. 

Ø  The ability to schedule and direct daily work assignments of multiple employees.

Ø  Proven ability to effectively communicate and work with a variety people.

Ø  Must be able to follow instructions and work independently with an eye for detail.

Ø  High school diploma or GED preferred. 

Ø  Strong organizational skills and good written and verbal communication skills required. 

Ø  Must have ability to lift and/or carry 50 lbs. 

Ø  Must submit to and pass criminal background check and drug test.
