Summary:

Use your Java skills to join a growing organization’s software development team.  You will have direct contact with customers, gather and interpret requirements as well as design, develop, test and support web applications.  This is a structured environment where you will follow a formalized development methodology.     

Qualifying Criteria:

• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of Java development & support with Oracle (SQL Server) backend knowledge
• Proficiency in Java (J2EE/JSP/Servlets/JDBC/JavaBeans)
• Knowledge of SQL (Oracle) stored procedures, general queries
• Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS
• Self-motivated with strong analytical, problem solving, oral and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with a Web application framework
• Source code change management software experience
• J2EE Web Application Servers

This is a 75% maintenance role with 25% new development.

Terms:

This is a 90 day contract with the opportunity for fulltime employment at the end of the contract offering a starting salary in the 65-70K range.
