About the Job





The Web Solution Developer - Senior will be responsible
for analysis, design, development, support and implementation of Web
applications, primarily using JAVA, J2EE, and ATG Portal Server/Personal
Server/Dynamo Scenario Server/Dynamo Workflow engine/Dynamo JMS system. Position
is responsible for the development of complex application framework providing
the foundation for additional components as well as major feature design and
implementation within existing system components, with ATG Workflow/DSS to
manage the business process. Responsible for generating detailed technical
requirements based on ambiguous business requirements. Responsible for designing
system architecture and sub-system components and generating design documents
with UML. Position is accountable for implementation of software that is
adherent to design specifications and principles based on industry standards and
internal standards set up by Enterprise Architect. Responsible for designing and
creating back-end table structure in Oracle database. Position provides data
analysis result for business user with profound database query skills. Develops
test cases and automates test cases execution for unit and integration tests.
Participates in design, code and test cases review. Explores new and alternative
technologies such as AJAX and non JEE family. The position reports
to and works under the direct guidance and supervision of Enterprise Architect.


 




















































Essential
Functions


Design and Development
:


 


Designs, develops, troubleshoots, debugs, and implements
software code (using HTML, JAVA, JEE, .net and JavaScript) for a component of
the Website. Works with graphic designers and other members of a project team to
develop the site concept, user interface design, and framework of the Website.
Responsible for interface implementation. Integrates Web applications with
backend databases and other systems. Deploys large Web- based transaction
systems using application servers. Research, tests, builds and coordinates the
integration of new products per production and client requirements. Requires
strong navigation and site-design instincts. Implements standards set up by
Enterprise Architect.


System Administration & Testing
:


 


Performs system administration for the middle ware
platforms such as WebSphere, JBoss etc. Develops and conducts unit and
integrated tests. Participates in peer review of new and/or existing code
development. Performs load and/or stress test for web-application.


 


 


 


 





 


QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:


Requires college degree in computer science or related
field.


Requires 3+ years of ATG and other application servers
experience / programming.


Requires 7+ years of JAVA - JEE designing and
programming required.


Requires strong experience in Web technologies such as
XML; JSP; IIS; and Apache.


Requires familiarity with .net framework.


Requires developmental experience in multiple Web-based
languages.


Requires experience in interfacing applications to large
RDBMS systems.


Requires strong experience in designing and implementing
security protocol to communicate with different systems with Java Security
Framework including Authorization/Authentication; Decrypt/Encrypt.


Experience with JBoss, WebSphere or other middle-ware
platform is desired.


Documentum or other content management system experience
desired.


Oracle experience preferred.
