GENERAL PURPOSE: 

Our client is seeking multiple Senior-level Java developers.  Their framework is J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, EJB, and ZK utilizing JUnit and SVN.  The primary work will be front-end development utilizing a variety of open source tools.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Program functions/classes and modules in JAVA

·         Perform routine maintenance on existing systems

·         Programming for research studies using patient databases and sharing patient records across different medical entities

·         Perform acceptance and regression testing on new and existing systems

·         Perform SQL queries

REQUIREMENTS:

·         7+ years of working knowledge in JAVA

·         Bachelor's degree in CS or related field heavily preferred, but structured experience will also be considered

·         Significant exposure to frontend development working with different open source tools

·         Experience doing SQL Queries

·         Strong communication skills

·         Must have permanent work authorization

·         Candidates with large record development and migration experience are preferred

·         Heavy Database experience is preferred

TERMS:

Some positions are direct hire and some are 6 month contracts with an opportunity for fulltime employment at the end of the contract.  All starting salaries will range from 75 to 83K, dependent upon the amount of experience you can offer to suit their specifications.
