We have an immediate need for a Java / J2EE Developer
JOB DESCRIPTION
Potential long term contract (12-18 months) opportunity for Java/J2EE developer in Charlotte area. Will design, develop and maintain complex code including complex Java/J2EE modules, SQL, stored procedures, Unix shell scripts, etc.
- Verify program logic by preparing test data, testing and debugging of programs
- Develop new documentation, participate in development of department technical procedures and design user guides
- Help with production support and troubleshooting
Required skills -
- 5+ years of experience in developing client server and web based applications
- 2 - 4 years of object oriented design, Java/J2EE, Servlets, JSP, SOAP, Web Services, SOA, XML, WBXML, JDBC, design patterns, UML
- 2+ years of developing SQL queries, preferably oracle, data modeling including dimensional modeling, ETL
Experience in working with modern Java IDEs such as Rational Application Developer, Eclipse
Experience in working development tools/frameworks such as CVS, ANT, Struts, JUnit
NO corp-to-corp or third party vendors
