As Java Team Lead, we’ll rely on you to lead a team of developers meeting critical business needs and keep in constant communication with business analysts, test-teams, technology services partners, and management. Our ideal candidate… …has at least 8 years’ application development experience, along with knowledge of primary and secondary mortgage markets. You’ll also need: · A bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience · Experience in application development and knowledge of J2SE, J2EE, Unix Shell Scripting, and SQL · Experience leading and directing a small team of developers · Proficiency with application design and integration patterns · Experience with relational databases using JDBC such as DB2 and Sybase · Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices · The ability to communicate effectively with various audiences · Knowledge of Perl, Autosys, C/C++, SAS, fixed income securities and model analytics is preferred · Experience with fixed income trading desks and traders is preferred Freddie Mac is an equal opportunity employer who firmly supports and recognizes the value of diversity and inclusion.
