Java Team Lead

About the Job

Neoris is an information technology (IT) services provider – the second largest in Latin America and the largest in Mexico. As the largest IT services provider in Mexico, Neoris has opportunities in systems integration, network design, consulting, custom application development, application management, project management.


Currently, we are looking for a Java Team Lead with experience with Java, Websphere and Unix for a 12 month project in Mooresville.














Objective of the position (a summary of the function)


The resource will be in charge of understanding business requirements as written by the business users and offering solutions to support them. Will be in charge of designing the system to support the requirement, leveraging as many as the existing systems as possible, and using the standards of the company.


 


Experience in writing technical documents, use cases and analysis of documents is essential. UML knowledge is a big plus.


Main Activities:



  • Deep knowledge of Java, Web Applications, RAD and Websphere environments, configuration, and deployment
  • Troubleshooting problems with Websphere and RAD for the team members will be a very common activity
  • Needs to have strong SQL knowledge and excellent frontend technologies skills (HTML, JSP, JSTL)
  • Windows administration, Unix and scripting knowledge will be a big plus
  • Understanding computer networks internals and tools will be very useful
  • C coding skills are also a plus.
