JavaScript Expert Developer/Architect to provides thought leadership in developing Web 2.0 applications in pure HTML with the performance and usability of applications such as "Google Mail" and "Google Docs". This position works closely with other Architects, Senior Developers and Usability Experts locally and remotely, to develop a compelling, interactive, fast and easy to use Web 2.0 browser interface for two successful enterprise web applications used by Global 500 companies across industries and worldwide. Refactor and Optimize existing AJAX browser based interfaces developed with JavaScript widget libraries, and a Java POJO based web tier. Develop cross-browser custom widgets in JavaScript to support development of a Java web application and a Java portal based application. Must be comfortable working in cross-functional teams in a highly transparent Agile organization, with two week iterations, continuous integration and a drive for quality. You must lead by example in developing common reusable code; regularly joining different Scrum teams to take on development tasks, and sharing knowledge with other Architects and Developers through training and pairing. Required Experience- JavaScript expert for Web Based Applications - 5+ years focused on OO JavaScript
- Client Side Development SME (if you want to do Java, or back end development, this is not the right position for you)

- Web 2.0 Application must be able to show demonstrable code ideally for a Web 2.0 Application
- JavaScript framework or JavaScript library - (Ideally an expert in Ext, or Ext-JS, or ExtJS, or Ext JS) or jQuery, Prototype, or Dojo, or YUI.
- JavaScript Performance Issues
- Building profiling tools
- AJAX Preferred
- DWR Preferred
- JSON Preferred
- Preferred - Automated testing for example tools like Selenium or Watir/Watin
- Preferred - PHP, or Ruby, or Java
- Google Inc. experience or Yahoo! experience - the ideal candidate will have expertise producing high quality front ends for applications for a top notch company such as Google developing applications such as Google Maps, Google Mail, Google Docs, or any other web 2.0 applications for Google or Yahoo! or a top company with a top Web 2.0 presence
