SUMMARY OF POSITION:
We are seeking experienced (8+ years) truck mechanics with ASE or equivalent certifications and with strong capabilities in diesel engines, air and hydraulic brake systems, electrical & power train diagnostics. Other knowledge in performing BIT and DOT inspections, cab-air conditioning and welding would be a plus… Must have a clean DMV. Company has programs for further training in the various areas of automotive & truck repair, including alternative fuel systems, diesel repair, air brakes, Transport Refrigeration, etc. Excellent benefits!! We have a large network of 60 mobile service trucks and approximately 85 employees in our company... This position reports to our location in San Diego. Hours are from 8 AM to 4:30 PM....Monday through Friday.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least five years experience in journeyman level truck and trailer experience
- Must have strong background in air brakes, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and power train diagnosis.
- Must have ASE certificates.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean DMV.
- Must have your own tools.
- Must have valid CDL license. Class A or B.
- Bus Experience a plus.
SALARY
18. 00 - 32. 00 USD / hour DOE
Shift Differential pay, ASE Certification and CDL Bonuses
