Beacon Hill Technologies are working with a Client located in the Cleveland, Ohio area, to staff an entry-to-mid-level .Net Developer on a 5 month, Contract-to-Hire, basis.

***Candidates that have extensive classroom knowledge and can provide extensive code samples of any coding within (any of the following languages) .Net, C#, VB, VB.Net, ASP.net, are highly encouraged to apply.  Classroom knowledge and project work will be considered in lieu of professional work experience, as long as sample work can be shown.***

Develop software using .NET C# based on a defined set of design and performance requirements.
Ability to understand documented requirements and translate them to design applications and databases
Proactively provide ideas and solutions towards the improvement of the site and the business
Administer development and production environments including websites and databases
Understand and follow existing local development processes
Actively participate in application design, database design, schema layout and data loading
Ability to interact and collaborate on technical issues within a team or department
Ability to prepare sample data and testing
Troubleshoot and correct complex bugs or issues (including performance issues)
Provide quick and efficient solutions
Perform work during non-routine business hours as required to maintain 24x7 system availability
Possess excellent written and communication skills
Provide outstanding customer support by effectively communicating and working with various levels of customers.

Strong knowledge of ASP.NET, ASP
Strong knowledge of C#
Strong knowledge of HTML
Strong knowledge of SQL
Strong knowledge of Windows Operating system
Strong ability to understand and develop alternatives to match business objectives with available technology and/or process solutions.
Flexible in handling changes in scope and responsibilities
Personal initiative, leadership, creativity and resourcefulness required.
Project and/or task ownership and accountability required.
Must be innovative, entrepreneurial and flexible, with the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and oral skills.

Thorough skills using standard Microsoft Office Suite of products.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required
Some experience using ASP.NET, ASP, C#, HTML, SQL on Windows operating system
