Key Responsibilities:
Through heavy outbound calling and targeted lead generation campaigns, the Sales Rep’s primary goal is to engage with senior-level executives to secure sales appointments. This position is the entry point in an accelerated development program to create highly effective sales executives. Typical day-to-day activities include, but are not limited to the following:
·Securing phone-based sales meetings between Sales Executives and prospective members (100 appointments scheduled within first 5-6 months)
·Managing sales process mechanics (e.g. visit preparation and follow-up) to maximize sales cycle effectiveness
·Conducting phone-based sales calls with senior executives (receive modest new business goal in months 6-12, or sooner as merited) to articulate business model and value proposition
·Developing and qualifying leads within territory to drive additional sales opportunities through cold-calling and lead generation campaigns
·Gathering business intelligence on companies, leads and each qualified prospect to support the scheduling of sales calls and drive revenue generation
·Receive hands-on coaching from senior sales professionals
A successful candidate will possess:
- Excellent relationship-building skills and transactional sales experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional ability to immediately establish one’s credibility with senior executives
- Solid understanding of business concepts and ability to quickly learn program-specific content terrain
- Ability to meet personal and team weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial goals
- 1-3 years sales experience
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
