Position Description: The Junior Web Developer/Analyst supports the Web Strategies team with production and maintenance of web sites and applications associated with the EDMC Online universities. This developer also provides design and programming support to ongoing Web marketing projects served by the Online Creative Services team. Responsible for maintaining and reporting on core web metrics related to website traffic, cross-media tracking, click-stream analysis and conversion utilizing existing and future analytic tools.
Key Job Responsibilities
• Assists in the integration and updating of web analytics data with other initiatives including dashboards, data warehousing systems, electronic leads systems and school information system data. • Assists to ensure appropriate tracking is in place for websites and campaigns • Generates reports and data on key web measures and initiative progress. • Assists Web Developers with development and maintenance of web sites and applications using ASP.NET, SQL, HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, Flash, ActionScript. • May interface with other areas of the business to help troubleshoot defects and gather requirements. • Remains current with and an understanding of the latest multimedia and screen graphics technology and development tools and trends. • Balances multiple-project workload with tight deadlines, while producing consistent, high-quality work. Produces incremental updates quickly and with quality.

Position Requirements: Requirements • Minimum Associate degree in Web Design, Multimedia Design, or Information Technology related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred. • Minimum 2 years Web application development experience in a corporate or commercial setting • Strong analytics skills with familiarity with Omniture \ Google Analytics a plus • Intermediate level skill with HTML and JavaScript • Experience with current versions of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat desired • Proficiency with ASP.NET using VB.NET and its interface with SQL databases, AJAX, Flash, and Actionscript. is a plus. • Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills • Ability to collaborate with others as an effective team player • Must be self-motivated and detail-oriented. • Strong analytical and research skills required. • Some experience with full product development-cycle (analysis, design, development, testing, and support) required.
