Administrative Assistant
Responsibilities:
Contact community weekly papers and gather publication information
Gather all aspects of publications’ mechanical, rate, distribution and demographic information
Liaise with advertising manager to determine additional information on a case-by-case basis
Appropriately document and store all follow-up information provided over telephone and email, as well as other assumptions
Properly title and store publication information in appropriate locations
Compile, sort and verify the accuracy and completeness of data before it is entered
Locate and correct data entry errors, or report them to supervisor
Store completed reference documents in appropriate locations
Maintain log of activities and completed work
Requirements:
2 to 5 years of experience
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and computer skills
Demonstrated team player, with strong collaboration and conflict resolution skills
Experience contacting organizations over the telephone to gain information; resourcefulness and persistence to obtain information when it is not easily available
Internet proficient and capable of learning proprietary databases
Ability to work independently and efficiently
