JUNIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER

INTER CITY TIRE & AUTO CENTER, INC. is a highly respected, mid-sized company headquartered in Elizabeth, New Jersey. It is the fastest growing commercial tire distributor in the tri-state area.  The company specializes in commercial truck, industrial and OTR tire sales, retreading manufacturing, wholesale distribution, road service and all other related services. The full-time Junior Graphic Designer will be situated in Elizabeth, NJ and will report to the Director of Marketing, and be responsible for layout and design for print, web and interactive materials. This position will work on multiple projects simultaneously. The qualified candidate must be able to execute individually or within a team setting and be 100% proficient in preparing documents and files for press and the web. He/she must also have excellent time-management and interpersonal skills, the ability to discern the level of importance associated with different tasks and be able to work under sudden, and short time constraints.  This individual must be Mac & PC literate.  Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite CS, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop, Dreamweaver, CSS, Flash and HTML.  Also be able to produce website from start to finish under the direction of Management.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

v     Must have a high school diploma or GED

v     2-5 years experience in graphic design

v     Excellent communication skills (written/verbal)

v     Experience with paper and vinyl sign production is a must

v     Knowledge of VersaCamm SP-540V is a plus

v     Experience with vehicle wrap applications is a plus

v     Produce quality work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and expectations for creativity and accuracy

v     Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

v     Assist with project management when appropriate, ability to navigate well on the internet for research purposes, coordinating multiple resources and ensuring consistent communication and deliverables

v     Complete associated administrative tasks
