Midtown Manhattan Asset Manager is looking to hire a Junior Portfolio Administrator.

Qualified candidate will have a good working knowledge of the financial markets, with a minimum of 2 years of industry experience.

Knowledge of Advent Axys (portfolio accounting system) is desirable.

Fluent Spanish is desirable.

Responsibilities include:

• Daily custodial download and price file updates.

• Monthly reconciliation of accounts between custodians and Advent Axys and research of discrepancies.

• Daily trade processing and trade reconciliation.

• Research and processing of security reorganizations & corporate actions.

• Preparation and distribution of monthly and quarterly client reports and management fee processing.

• Perform various administrative functions as requested and other projects related to client service.

• Anticipate clients’ needs and requests.

Salary range depending on experience: $40,000 to $45,000.
