Small Hampton Roads CPA firm (5 professional staff) seeks entry level accountant (1-5 years experience) to assist in the preparation of financial statements and individual, partnership and corporate tax returns. Position will assist clients with various government reporting requirements, accounting software and general consulting services.  Individual should have experience with trial balances, journal entries, general ledger, depreciation schedules and possess strong analytical skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are required,  as individual will interface with clients on a regular basis.  Knowledge of Quickbooks, Peachtree, and Creative Solutions a plus. Knowledge of Word and Excel required.
