The Position


 


 The head office is in Hong Kong and regional offices in New York, Rotterdam, London, Frankfurt, Cologne, Paris, Madrid, Milan and Tokyo, and two R&D facilities, one in Paderborn Germany, and the other in Hong Kong.


 


This position is based in the North American Headquarters in East Rutherford, NJ.


 


Primary Responsibilities


 



  • To present and promote the Traxon lighting brand and the e:cue control brand to both direct and indirect channels.

 



  • Develop strategic relationships with companies that can foster a long term partnership with Traxon

 



  • Full comprehensive knowledge of Traxon Lighting solutions.

 



  • Full comprehensive knowledge of e:cue lighting control solutions

 



  • You will develop new business relationships and maintain existing relationships with lighting and control specification customers such as:

 


o    Architects


o    Lighting Designers


o    Interior Designer


o    Synergetic companies that will utilize our systems


 



  • You will develop new business relationships and maintain existing relationships with lighting and lighting control integrators, installers and contractors such as:

 




    • General Contractors
    • Electrical Contractors
    • AV Installers
    • System Integrators

 


·         You will be expected to achieve your monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets which will be agreed with you prior to the start of every year.


 


·         You will build very close working relationships with clients, direct and indirect with the clear objective of making the Traxon and e:cue brands the preferred choice of all specification and design customers.


 


·         You will be expected to spend 80% of your time out of the office in face to face meetings. Travel is a key part of the job and overnight stays may be required.


 


·         You will be responsible for your own lead generation and appointment making.


 


·         You must possess drive, motivation and acute attention to detail in ensuring that all sales and project opportunities for both the Traxon and e:cue brands are captured and explored.


 


·         You will actively manage the sales process from lead generation, through to qualifications and brief acquisition before handing on to the project management team for specification and project management.


 


·         You will be targeted to arrange CPD presentations to present Traxon and e:cue brands to the specification market via professional and structured Customer group meetings.


 


·         Managing and maintaining a pipeline and ensuring all sales administration is current using Netsuite On-Line CRM software.


 


·         Create and be accountable for all customer presentations, proposals contracts and any other documentation following Traxon Technologies procedure and process.


 


·         You will work as a team with the other Regional Sales Managers and Project Managers in the regional offices.


 


·         To practice Simplicity, Flexibility and Innovation in everything that you do on behalf of Traxon Technologies.


 


·         You will be expected to keep abreast of developments in the lighting and lighting control marketplace and feedback competitor activity to your line manager and marketing departments.

Essential Experience


 



  • Bachelors Degree Required, MBA a plus
  • A minimum of 5 years experience with in the LED lighting or lighting control industry.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Relationship building skills.
  • Receptive to innovation and change.
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Working knowledge of DMX control solutions

 


Desirable Experience


 



  • Experience in working for an international organization.
  • Highly developed project management skills to lead and co-ordinate.
  • Experience in relationship development.
  • General technical knowledge.
