The Key Account Manager I is responsible for managing key accounts as the "B" call leader which includes distribution and space management, execution of ads, promotions, and displays. He/she ensures correct relative retail pricing and interacts with customer buyer level.

Directly supports one or more key customer relationships.

Ensures compliance with key account plan at market level and represents local market in key account process.

Supports account planning process including trimester marketing calendar and sales execution framework

Delivers annual customer plan for sales and gross margin

Conducts/coordinates store-level surveys.

Reviews product void and lift analysis and determines appropriate action.

Provides recommendations to Sales Manager/GM on RFPs/bids.

Coordinates, communicates, and monitors monthly price changes.
-
Ensures agreed to activities with customers are executed.
-
Ensures coordination with A/R.
-
Manages value via trade spend and execution of ads and marketing plan.

Conducts customer business reviews and sales presentations with customers.

Aligns with GM/SM on execution needs for customer accounts.

Provides accurate and timely execution of administrative duties

Manages customer service/complaints.
-
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree preferred.

A minimum of 5 years sales experience, preferably in consumer product goods.

Ability to demonstrate solid sales track record.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills; bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Skill in organization, time management, prioritization, and attention to detail.

Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.

Strong team player who is able to work across multiple functions and disciplines.
