My client, a leading manufacturer and distributor of frozen bakery products, is seeking a talented Key Account Manager to join their team in Michigan. To be considered for this opportunity one must possess the following experience and skill set.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or related field is preferred, but not required.
- 3 or more years of sales experience with a food or beverage manufacturing organization.
- Must be customer driven and understand how to maintain and enhance customer relationships.
- Effective at planning and organizing workflow for oneself.
- Ability to travel overnight or across the US if needed.
- Ability and experience making critical decisions that impact the organization.
- Good, effective communication skills including giving clear verbal direction, actively listening to others and fostering open communication.
- Understands the concept of fact based selling and the sales skills necessary to improve position with the client.
Description:
The Key Account Manager will maintain good communication with the National Sales Manager, Director of Sales and Marketing and the Bakery Operations to ensure product quality, customer service is in great standing and the proper order flow is in place. Ensure the implementation of the company sales and marketing strategies and manage all aspects of the Account performance utilizing current technology. This position will be managing a new Account for the organization and a great deal of time and effort will be put into the development of the relationship to establish a strong customer relationship.
