D&H Distributing, a National Distributor of computer products, has a full time outside Key Account sales position available to manage an established Pacific Northwest territory. As a Key Account Manager, you will leverage your extensive sales skills and experience as you call on both existing customers and prospects.  Account base will include Amazon, Costco, Fred Meyer along with other key retail and etail resellers. You will report directly to the Western Region Sales Manager be responsible for the continued development of our Computer Products Division’s business at these key retail accounts.  You must have the ability to develop deep relationships with in the retail organizations you are servicing as well as be able to prospect and develop new relationships with in those organizations as well as with new opportunities. Qualified candidates will have a proven track record of success in the computer products field or a closely related industry. Position offers competitive salary and commission.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


 


Responsible sales to assigned customer.


Generation of new accounts.


Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge


Maximize all opportunities in the process of closing a sale


Achieve all sales and margin goals set for by management


Ability to make suggestions, recommendations and sell as a consultant to the customer


Responsible for developing and strengthening customer relationships


Work with vendors to develop sales proposals for presenting to customers


Weekly/daily travel to visit customers at their headquarters and occasional industry shows


Demonstrates the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment


Adhere to all company policies, procedures and ethics.


Must adhere to company attendance policy.


 


 


 


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE


 


·         2 plus years experience in outside sales


·         Experience in calling on major retail/e-tail accounts


·         Familiar with selling, computer products, consumer electronics or video gaming.


·         Wholesale Distribution experience desired


WORK SCHEDULE


 



  • Fulltime position (40 hours a week), Overtime, Weekends, Holidays, as required.
