Position Description
Key Customer Manager I
Linde is currently seeking a Key Customer Manager to join the team in the South. Please note that the location of this role is negotiable. Job Responsibilities: · Owns “Shadow” profit and loss for poultry / food accounts within the portfolio assigned · Future development and growth of the business within the portfolio assigned · Utilizes and practices Linde Pro Sales Process and time/territory management · Deep Customer & Competitor Insight · Manage Customer Acquisition, Satisfaction & Retention · People collaboration and champion of safety within poultry / food account segment · Customer Data Maintenance Minimum Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree required in sales, marketing, economics, or technical discipline, MBA desirable · Greater than 5 years industry experience in field sales and/or sales management required in gas industry, chemical/other manufacturing · Linde Pro certification required · Critical and innovative thinking, strong financial and business acumen required · Proficient coaching, mentoring, or team management experience preferred · Demonstrated track record of developing and executing customer/territory sales plans, deep customer insight, knowledge of competitive landscape, growing revenue and moving product within territory or geography; strong prospecting, negotiation & closing abilities desired · Must demonstrate critical and innovative thinking to assist sales team create value for customers and to manage multiple priorities and issue identification and resolution · Experience in poultry / food segment required · PC skills including CRM/CRM equivalent, MS Office with Excel and PowerPoint required to efficiently analyze, plan and manage geographic area · Must be well organized and able to handle multiple priorities, with time management proficiency · Functional skills: Customer Relationship Management; Planning and organizing (completing paperwork, accounts receivable, profit and loss, etc.); Financial & Forecasting (DOA, P&L); Legal negotiations understanding and execution; skill in managing high level customer relationships; directing, supporting, influencing and coordinating extended sales teams; general management (P&L, DOA, etc.); selling skills and negotiations; problem solving; written and oral communication; product/process knowledge; continuous learning; Time and territory management Linde offers excellent salaries, world-class benefits, and unparalleled opportunities for development – all to create an invigorating and satisfying environment.
