Job Description
Serves as a training development specialist in conducting job and task analysis for knowledge management training. Develops technically and doctrinally sound training material for knowledge management training programs. Provides technical guidance in the planning, researching, and implementing education and training programs. Reviews programs of instruction for compliance with the proponent's training strategy. Develops the System Training Plan (STRAP), provides input to New Equipment Training Plans (NETP), and Training Assessments and the Qualitative and Quantitative Personnel Requirements Information/Basis of Issue Plan (QQPRI/BOIP) documents. Interprets and advises other training developers of doctrinal changes. Provides course input into the Army Systems Approach to Training (ASAT) software/database. Develops products and analysis to support the Structure and Manning Decision Review (SMDR) and Training Resources Arbitration Panel (TRAP) processes. Develops products and analysis to support the Army Individual Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS) and inputs data and information into the ATRRS. Maintain Army Knowledge Management course administrative data and route or path data in ATRRS. Conducts knowledge management (KM) seminars in support of the Command and General Staff College and Battle Command Officer Integration course curriculums. Conducts knowledge management training for KM cells in Army operational units and Centers of Excellence.
Required Skills
Possess a secret security clearance. Understanding of Knowledge Management fundamentals and concepts desired. Knowledge of MS SharePoint, Adobe Connect, Army Knowledge Online (AKO), MS Office, and Tomoye ECCO desired.
Experience Required
Understanding of the Systems Approach to Training (SAT), the Army Training Requirements and Resource System (ATTRS) and Automated Systems Approach to Training (ASAT).
