SUMMARY OF POSITION


This position is for a senior level IT technical professional. The position will support a large technology infrastructure which includes 800+ end users resident on our 90 acre corporate campus and 20+ remote U.S. offices. Technology within the infrastructure includes (but not limited to) MS Server 2003, SQL, VMWare, HP EVA SAN, HP blade servers, Cisco Switches on a Layer 3 network and Cisco Wireless.





BASIC QUALIFICATIONS


· AS or AA in Information Technology or related degree


· At least 3 years in a professional IT capacity


· At least 1 year in a supervisory, team leader or management capacity


· Proven track record in project management


· Systems Management experience


· Active Directory experience


· MCSA (Server 2003) or MCTS (Server 2008) Certification


· Experience with ITIL best practices


· Strong problem solving skills


· Proven ability to balance, prioritize, and organize multiple tasks


· Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills





PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


· BS in Computer Science or related degree


· At least 5 years in a professional IT capacity


· At least 2 years in a supervisory, team leader or management capacity


· MCSE (Server 2003) or MCITP (Server 2008) Certification


· CCNA Certification


· ITIL Foundations or ISO 20000 Certification


· CAPM or PMP Certification








DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


· Team lead for the infrastructure technical team (includes AD, file servers, LAN, SAN, etc.)


· Includes AD, file servers, LAN, SAN, etc.


· Hardware & Software


· Systems management


· Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure problems


· Design, architecture and implementation of new technology initiatives


· Provide proactive reporting of system capacity and capacity planning


· Respond to incoming support requests via ticketing system, phone calls and e-mail in a timely manner


· Maintain a high level of detailed documentation


· Maintain an up-to-date level of expertise
