LED Product Design Engineer
Are you an experienced Design Engineer who seeks out new challenges? Do you handle responsibility well and have a desire to work with manufacturing packaged LED products? Our client is a manufacturer of a proprietary optics technology and is currently seeking a Product Design Engineer for LED products. You will work with RGB solutions, phosphors, manufacturing assembly, cost management and R&D.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering coupled with a minimum of at least 5 years direct experience in the LED industry (design and manufacturing)
• Must have knowledge of product testing and designs relevant to industry standards
• CAD (SolidWorks) experience
• Experience with wire bonding, surface mount and molded plastic parts
• Ability to see LED designs and products from concept through all stages of production
• Excellent problem solving skills and strong communication skills in a team setting
• Ability to travel as necessary
