COMMERCIAL LOAN REVIEW OFFICER IV

Summary:
The Loan Review Officer (LRO) will report directly to the Vice President, Loan Review Manager. In this critical role, the LRO’s primary function will be to assist the Loan Review Manager in conducting an ongoing assessment of the overall quality of the bank’s commercial loan portfolio through the identification, evaluation, measurement and reporting of commercial credit risk exposure. In addition, the LRO will be responsible for performing reviews of individual commercial credits with the intent of determining credit quality and validating the accuracy and timeliness of the assigned credit risk rating. Reviews large size loans of moderate to substantial complexity
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES - Commercial Loan Review Officer IV: May supervise projects or services and/or one or more employees, as applicable. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
Minimum Job Requirements
Ø Bachelor’s degree
Ø 7+ years experience as a commercial loan officer/underwriter/reviewer is required.
Ø Prior commercial loan review and/or regulatory/examining experience is required.
Ø The ability to read and interpret complex financial statements and publications, correspondence, write findings/conclusion memos and effectively discuss and present information to all levels of bank personnel including senior management is critical.
Ø Must possess excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
