Provides advice on and applies federal, state, departmental and institutional nursing procedures.
Ability to provide advice on patient supervision, patient safety considerations and patient well being issues.
Ability to transcribe, prepare, administer and record medications and treatments prescribed by a physician.
Under direction, to develop as part of a multi-disciplinary team, a broad spectrum plan of care for a specific population of clients, to provide specialized Telehealth care to clients in the population; to identify emerging/recurring health problems and develop programs with other agencies to manage these problems; to supervise nursing and nonprofessional staff; and to do other related work as required.
Conducts PAD, data quality functions and VTC coordination.
Coordinate Medical Consent, clinic advising and care coordination.
Assisting in scheduling patient-provider as well as provider telehealth and non telehealth encounters.
Assist in preparing patients for telehealth encounter and performing all related duties associated with the encounter from start to finish.
Requirements:
Successful completion of a one year nursing training program offered by a a nationally accredited vocational, technical community, junior colleges, state or military trained equivalent school.
Shall have and maintain an active, valid, current, unrestricted license (with no limitations, stipulations or pending adverse actions) to practice nursing as a licensed vocational nurse in a US jurisdiction.
The licensed vocational nurse shall have provided LVN services in the clinical area for at least 12 months within the past 24 months. Have at least three years nursing experience, with one year telehealth desirable. Have and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
