Lab Support is currently recruiting for a Applications Pilot Plant Technician. This position is contract to hire with a fantastic global manufacturer.
Job Description/Requirements:
- Performing small scale performance tests, FCC lab scale deactivation techniques and analytical procedures
- Analytical inspection, process feed and products
- Bench scale process operation of various plant units
- Train to work with minimal supervision, independently operating, maintaining and troubleshooting testing equipment - MUST be very mechanically inclined
- Adhere to all data procedures (LIMS and Excel based) and aid in the evaluation of testing
- Excel skills required: basic skills of moving, copying, and creating files, correctly move data from one sheet to another, familiar with control charts, macros, mathematical functions and database formats
- Looking for initiative and someone with mechanical aptitude (tracing lines and electrics) on applications
- Manually run reactors and steamers
