The Irvine office of Morgan Lewis is seeking to hire a Labor and Employment Staff Associate with at least 3 years experience.  Don’t be fooled by the “Staff Associate” title; this is not a contract attorney job dedicated to document review.  We assign the same high quality, interesting work to our Staff Associates as we do other Associates, and we apply the same high expectations for excellence. The difference in this position is that it has reduced billable-hour goals, no non-billable requirements, and is non-partnership track.  It is ideal for lawyers who do not want to forgo engaging, challenging work due to a need for a more flexible work schedule.  We seek candidates with excellent academic credentials; strong research, writing, and analytical skills; who value and prefer a teamwork environment but can work independently; are highly motivated; are experienced in California labor and employment law; and can hit the ground running in a busy practice.  This position offers a flexible work schedule and attractive benefits.
